Does anyone know of any good protection CDP? Our company are requiring paraplanners to complete 15 hours.
I'm interested in this too.
I'm a bit grumpy about having to do 15hrs of it though, every year, in an area that doesn't have massive amounts of new stuff to have to learn compared to all the other aspects of our job that apparently only need 20hrs between them
We have asked a couple of providers to come in and speak to us about Shareholder Protection, Keyman cover and Relevant Life which we should hopefully be able to get around 4-5 hours from.
You could try Akademia who have a few videos that would get you another 5 hours or so:
L&G's State of the Nation report which would probably be good for an hour or two
Past that I think LV or Royal London do some sort of report as well.
Thank you Peter, I've sent those to my manager. Every little helps
We had 2 sessions with Zurich on shareholder protection, key person etc. About 2 hours in total. Andy King was our contact at Zurich who organised and presented (online).
We've been thinking about doing protection CPD like the tax & trust stuff we're doing with Utmost at the moment. If anyone knows someone or a company that have people like John Haley and would be willing to work with us, let me know.
Paraplanner. F1, Apple, Nutella, ice cream. No trite motivational quotes. Turning a bit northern. Republican.
If you were at the CISI Conference in the A Stream there was a sales presentation from Royal London which may count?
L&G do a brilliant business protection workshop including how to read accounts. Can't recommend it highly enough!
